Welcome to STATO's Corner
STATO, whose true identity is a bit of a mystery, is St Austell Running Clubs resident statitiscian. In this area of the site he plies his trade with sometimes fascinating, othertimes meaningless statistics about every aspect of the club.

"Hello stats fans and welcome to my Corner - it is here that I'm truly at home and with the laptop by my side and a good spreadsheet, I hope to entertain you all with a range of statistics, facts, charts and numbers. Any ideas for new content is always welcome as well as feedback on what is here. Don't forget that I also have every club race result in my masterfiles so if you forgot your time for Mounts Bay in 2008 or can't remember your 5m PB - just ask. Use the forum to keep in touch. Who is STATO ?
Educated at Oxford and with a honorary doctorate from Yale, STATO (he doesn't like the title Dr. S) is well qualified to represent St Austell Running Club in their statistical endeavours. In fact the clubs success to date has keep the number man busy trying to keep up with all your racing achievements. STATO is a quiet individual who is only really comfortable around spreadsheets and pie charts. STATO is attached (to an HP laptop) and when not working for STARC spends his spare time counting train numbers as they pass his house through the day.
