Horse Racing Evening A brilliant evening which was very well supported by the membership and the Rugby Club was full. It was good to see so many new members attending. The final total raised will be confirmed by Sarah, but will be around £600 when all the monies are received. This is a great effort and the Children's Hospice will benefit by an amount to be decided by the club on Tuesday. Thanks to : Katie for organising the evening Mike Tregaskes for ensuring everything went smoothly Geoff and Martin for organising the raffle Martin Trethewey for providing the race prizes and main raffle prize, on behalf of the Co-operative Supermarket. The Nutter won the prize for the most wacky horse name with 'Jabbawaggy Jogger', decided by Mike Tregaskes. Martin Bullock won the Race Sponsors Prize of a Personal Best voucher for £30, and kindly auctioned it to make another £20 for the cause. Another success in the STARC year and thanks to all who were there.
