The Gribbin 10k

St Austell Running Club (STARC) delivers this new multi-terrain race.  2023 saw the trial of this event and is now included in the MTRS Series.

Held with the grateful cooperation of the Menabilly Estate. Menabilly is a historic estate on the south coast of Cornwall, England, situated within the parish of Tywardreath on the Gribben peninsula about 2 miles west of Fowey. It has been the seat of the Rashleigh family from the 16th century to the present day.

The Event

This is a multi-terrain race that is not for the faint hearted. With some steep climbs and a challenging terrain that is mixed to include coast path, tarmac, meadow and of course, some steps.

A well-marshalled and signed course ensures you will not get lost. The 10k looped route starts and finishes at Menabilly House and takes in the several places of interest and views that just demand a selfie.

Organisers

This event is organised and run by St Austell Running Club, with the collaboration of ??????, without who, this race would not exist in any running calendar.

This collaboration offers runners the  experience of a private landscape and take viewpoints of parts of Cornwall from a once a year opportunity.
