The Social Side
We are a very friendly and sociable club, and there are lots of opportunities for members to get together outside of training sessions. However, you may not immediately recognise your training buddies in civilian clothing and not sweating profusely!
Summer BBQ/ Family Camping Weekend
The event that gets bigger and bigger!
Held on a local campsite with camping on the Friday and Saturday. Saturday afternoon consists of ‘sports day’, games and the BBQ. The BBQ itself is free for all. We ask that you bring salads, pies, snacks, dips or desserts to compliment the meat.
Par Inn BBQ
A FREE event for the family in recognition of their support throughout the year. The evening normally starts with a group photo outside the pub before we make our way to the harbour side of Par Beach. Once everyone is ready then it’s an out and back towards Polkerris, finishing back at the pub.
Christmas Party
Not to be missed!
The best party in town. This is a chance to dress up in party frocks and tuxedos and dance the night away. A full sit down three course meal followed by the end of year awards. Swap your running shoes for your dancing shoes!
