STARC Races
The club is involved in organising a number of Club Races throughout the year and it is expected that members will make themselves available to assist in putting on some of these events. We like to expose our members to the whole experience of running, training, competing, organising, marshalling and officiating. Members who wish to extend their involvement and experience further can apply for a club bursary to take training courses to become Leaders, Coaches or Officials.

These races could not go ahead without numerous marshals and other assistants to help make the day a successful club race. If you are running, or not, it would be very much appreciated if you could help or provide another family member or friend to help.
There will normally be an opportunity for you to experience these routes a week or so before the event by way of a reconnaissance run organised by the club.
St Austell Skyline 10
The St Austell Skyline 10 offers participants the chance to explore St Austell’s clay mining heritage on a multi-terrain course that is varied, being both fast and challenging.
You will follow a mix of trails, permissive paths and footpaths around this NEW 10 mile course brought to you by St Austell Running Club and supported by Imerys allowing us to utilise permissive paths and their land, you will pass by old clay dryers, clay pits and other heritage including starting opposite the historic Menacuddle Well.

Gribbin Head 10k
The course is a circular route starting near the Menabilly estate. The course is roughly 10k in distance and there is no split on the course for a shorter distance, all runners are entering for the full 10k.
This is a multi-terrain race that is not for the faint hearted. With some steep climbs and a challenging terrain that is mixed to include coast path, tarmac, meadow and of course, some steps.
